    ST1300 riders backrest.

So simple to fit. I was worried about positioning and getting on and off the bike but it’s not a problem for myself or my pillion.
Just put one foot on the peg and over. Nice sturdy support bracket and with my after market seat it looks the part.

    Short Ride With Positive Results

Posted by Steve Falon on 6th May 2018

I have a muscle or nerve midway along the left side of my back that aches because I'm a natural "sloucher" on a motorcycle. This backrest forces me to sit upright as I should on an ST. I rode it a 100 miles today and the sore spot didn't bother, so I think there's hope. The only reason I didn't 5-star it is because it doesn't adjust fore and aft ( which I was aware of when I bought it), but very good product for the $.

    Awesome Backrest

Posted by Brother Carl on 7th Jun 2017

Given the forward riding position on my ST1300, I was a little skeptical that this would make a difference. I haven't used this on a long ride yet, but on the daily commute the backrest is very comfortable, provides nice lower back support and does make a noticeable difference in riding comfort. Can't wait to test it out on the long haul.
