INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove seat assembly
2. Remove four allen head bolts
3. Place supplied bracket over existing holes
4. Retighten four allen head bolts
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)
WILL ALSO WORK WITH SOLO SEAT

Drivers backrest for new 2019 Indian Chieftain
I have the new 2019 Chieftain with the single gunfighter seat. The “new” bracket mounts to the frame and not the seat . Direct replacement for the factory seat grab handle bracket. Took literally 5 minutes to remove the seat, old bracket, install new bracket and seat. Very sturdy and fits great. Took a test ride and really liked how it fits.

Looks great, easy to install
Very pleased with entire experience. Shipped out same day I ordered. Installed in less than 10 minutes (once I figured or what size ratchet to use). I have the non- studded backrest on my 2017 Indian Chieftain.
