INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove seat assembly
2. Remove four allen head bolts
3. Place supplied bracket over existing holes
4. Retighten four allen head bolts
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)
WILL ALSO WORK WITH SOLO SEAT

Excellent product
First Grasshopper backrest I've owned and it meets or exceeds all my expectations. I have a 2018 Chieftain Limited and was quite surprised to see the white stitching on the backrest matching the stitching on the seat. The backrest is easy to install and for the money cannot be beat.

Awesome price and well made product
I had a Grasshopper backrest on my 07 Harley Heritage Softail and loved it. Now have one on my Indian Chieftain, so far love it. Price can't be beat.

A great fit and look!
Received my backrest a week ago and just got around to putting it on my new 2018 Indian Chieftain Limited yesterday. It was harder to remove my seat from the bike than mounting the backrest hardware, which, by the way, was so easy! Will be riding tomorrow to try it out. This is my second Grasshopper backrest (had one on my 2005 Honda VTX1300R) and would highly recommend it for a great substitute for the expensive OEM model. AND, I am a woman rider and put this on my bike myself. Easy peasy!!!
