INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove seat assembly
2. Remove four allen head bolts
3. Place supplied bracket over existing holes
4. Retighten four allen head bolts
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Back rest mount
This is the second time I've ordered a mount from Grasshopper. So it's obvious I love your product. My only complaint about this this mount and back rest is I had to widen the holes on the mount in order to get them to line up with the existing holes on my bike. I expected the mount to be plug and play like the first one I ordered for my Victory Cross Country.

2020 Chieftain Dark Horse Extended Reach Rogue Seat Driver Backrest
I have not found any other options to add a drivers backrest to the extended reach Rogue Seat for the Indian Chieftain. This backrest works great. It's easy to install. It doesn't push you forward. And it's a convenient place to put your helmet at stops. The only improvement I can think of would be to make it forward/backward adjustable. But it works really well as-is.
