2018 Harley Davidson Deluxe Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Great Backrest!
This backrest is made of great quality! It fits my ‘18 Softail Deluxe perfectly! What a relief for my back! I don’t have a bad back, but I’m 53 so it ain’t what it used to be. Even on short trips, I can feel the difference. It pushes me forward about an inch or so, but even that seems to help my riding position and I’m 6’ tall. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone to at least try it. Plus, I think it looks great!

Backrest with pocket
Easy to install and makes for a comfortable ride!

A quality seat back
This has taken the back pain out of my riding. It does push you a couple inches forward, which is necesary to be able to attach the back between the pillon and solo. But takes you a little out of the sweet spot of the seat. The Harley seat isn't that cofortable to start, the trade off for eliminating the back pain is well worth it to me. I am very happy with it overall.
