Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe Installation Instructions
1. Remove both seats
2. Remove factory mounting bracket
3. Slide supplied bracket between the seat and the chrome seat rail
4. Reassemble using 1/4-20 bolts supplied
5. Slide backrest into receiver and tighten set screw
6. Ride Safe!

Great Backrest
The backrest is just what I was looking for. It supports my back on long rides.

Softail Deluxe back rest
Delivery was fast and product was in excellent condition. Love it on my bike too!

Bracket did not fit
The bracket did not fit on the rear fender of my 2005 Softail Deluxe as received. It took some work on a vise to bend it to make it fit, although not perfectly. I really like the product otherwise, as it makes my ride more confortable.
