2018 Harley Davidson Deluxe Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Great Product
Although I have just purchased this backrest, I can confirm that the installation was as simple as possible. I like the look of it very much, it does provide excellent support to the lower back. I would recommend this product to all riders. Greta Product.

Finally!!!!
I have a Grasshopper driver's backrest on my H-D Heritage and Indian Chieftain Dark Horse. Now, I finally just installed one on my H-D Deluxe. Should have installed one on the Deluxe years ago. Didn't want to change the lines of the bike, but the backrest completely relieves any pressure on my lower back and corrects my riding posture. Thanks to the good folks at Grasshopper for offering such an excellent backrest at an affordable price.

Softail driver back rest
A little difficult to attach to screws on rear fender. The bottom of bracket was very thick. Had hard time screwing the bolts back on. But overall the product is great. Wish I would have found years earlier. I will recommend. Thanks for great job, and built in America.
