2018 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Backrest for 2021 Harley Heritage Classic
I had questions re the upright post that were quickly answered before I ordered it. It was very easy to install. Works out great.

Fit
First off great product and service. Fast shipping and clear instructions. And here comes the but......the fit leaves a lot to be desired. Good thing it is slotted and not just drilled. Had to do some bending of the plate in order for it to sit properly to get the knurled nuts back on. If I did not bend it there was no way to screw the nuts back on. 5 minute mounting job turned into an hour long ordeal. Mounting issues aside it is a great backrest and great value. Thanks for providing a great product and great customer service.
