2018 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Verdict Pending
First, the ordering shipping process was smooth and seamless. I ordered my backrest on a Monday and it was delivered on Thursday. Second, installation was easy despite there being no real instructions. I just reviewed one of the You Tube videos and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Third, I thought the price was very reasonable. Finally, and the reason for the 3 star rating and the "verdict pending" is that the seat pushes me too far forward. I'm tall - 5'10" with a 32" inseam. I find myself sitting far forward on the stock seat which is very uncomfortable. I put on about 300 miles over the weekend and it just did not get any better. I am going to try to make some adjustments to the seat and the backrest to see if I can resolve this problem. If not, I will have to return the backrest.

Perfect Solution
Had a Mustang seat with backrest but the seat sat me back too far. Got a Harley Sundowner solo seat and the Grasshopper backrest. It is PERFECT
