2018 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Solo back rest
Easy to install. Love the pocket in the back, if it had a velcro flap it would be even better. Looking forward to many comfortable rides with this back rest! Thank you for making this product!

This was easy to install. I commute on my bikes for work, and this backrest has relieved some of the pain I felt.

2021 HD Heritage Grasshopper backrest
Ordered the backrest after several email back and forth . I wanted to try a backrest for a 2021 Heritage without changing stock seat for cost reasons . I looked high and low but couldn’t find many options for use with stock seat . I can across the Grasshopper information that stated could be used with stock seat . Received order in 2 days was extremely happy. Upon open the box I found the backrest exactly as described. I mounted the backrest and hopped on for a ride after 5 minor adjustments I found the perfect reach I’m 5-3 so it helps to have some forward reach. I found that have no negative thoughts it’s amazing to use a backrest and glad I didn’t spend H-D money to get one. The rest is very well made with an adjustment pin to hold settings awesome addition I tried with solo seat use and the 2 up and it’s absolutely worth every penny I would buy this again and recommend the product. Thanks guys for the great affordable product.
