93-06 Harley Softail Installation Instructions
1. Remove seats
2. Seperate the passenger and driver seats
3. Place the supplied bracket between the two seats and reattach the seats(this will be a tight fit)
4. Reinstall seats and slide backrest into the hidden sleeve(if the upright is loose place a piece of electrical tape around the tongue and reinsert the upright)

Backrest for 2000 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail
So far I love my backrest, such a different ride and I no longer have back pain after a long ride. It does move me a little forward, but not enough to affect my ride. Only change I'll be making, is a leather covered foam pad on the upright where it hits my tailbone,

I admit I was skeptical. Ordered 2 backrests. One for the wifes heritage and one for my streetglide. Backrests shipped quick. Well made and was very pleased with both. But I ordered the wrong year for the wifes bike. Contacted the company. They said no problem. Only the mounting bracket was different. Shipped a new one to me at no charge to me. I couldnt believe. Great company to deal with. Stand up people that stand behind there product. Thank you
