07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Best mod anyone could do for more comfort
I was pretty hesitant on getting one of these back rests because I didn’t think it would help all that much but I was wrong. These products are awesome and I would recommend one to anyone looking for more comfort on long or short trips. I haven’t had it long so I can’t say how it’ll hold up but I will use it until it all time. Quick and easy install and it can be removed as easy as pulling it out when I don’t need it. Great good on a great product.
