07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Softail drivers Backrest
The Grasshopper backrest is perfect for me. My wife and I both ride Softail's now. I had researched some options to get a drivers backrest. My seat is comfortable and I really didn't want to replace it to get a backrest. I would recommend the Grasshopper backrest before anything else ! The padding is very comfortable, installation is easy. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Backrest
Easy fit, install on my 2015 heritage Softail Classic. I recommend tightening with pliers to secure the bracket.
