07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Just what I needed.
I own a 2008 Heritage Softail. I have 3 herniated disks in my back and this backrest is perfect. I have only ridden with the backrest a few times, but I love being able to lean back and have the support. I sit forward a little bit, but not enough to make it uncomfortable or dangerous. It took 5 minutes to install. Took longer to get it out of the box. I look forward to my run from Omaha to Knoxville in July. Going to the Tail of the Dragon. Thank you Grasshopper.

Amazing Back rest
I ordered my back rest for my 2013 Heritage and had it within 5 days. The installation was extremely simple and I absolutely love it. I definitely recommend this back rest. Thanks so much for a great product.
