07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Backrest
I called to speak to a rep, no answer, left message, did not call me back. Went ahead and ordered the backrest. The fit is less than ideal. I have a mustang solo seat and the bar on the backrest fits so tight it smashes the cushion on the seat down leaving wrinkles. It does help my back but I don’t like the way it makes my seat look smushed down.

WELL MADE
So glad I got this. It’s somewhat “springy”, so if you are expecting it to hold you up when you lean back, you need to know it will let you lean a good bit before offering stronger resistance. Works good me for though and happy I got it.
