07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Looks good, and very easy to install. Backrest sits me forward a little more which is good for me, being I am a smaller woman. Can’t wait to use it on a cross country ride!

Backrest on a 2009 Heritage Softail Classic
The backrest was easy to install. The vinyl used on the backrest matchs the saddlebags not the seat. The product is sturdy, with strong looking stitching. I feel like I should be sitting back about ! 1/2" and I am going to rework the cushion a little bit. I am 6'-0" and 200 LBS. Overall it is a good product,
