07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

ride changing
It took a while to get it but there was no hurry as the snow was still present here in Atlantic Canada. I was out for a scoot yesterday and I just luv it, changed the way you sit and does not let you slouch . Simple install,good price, looks good and feels great. Best upgrade for riding comfort.

Better than I thought
WOW! Love this backrest. Wasn't sure how i'd like the appearance to match my 2013 FLSTFB factory seat and upgraded factory passenger pillion. Looks great and the comfort is A+! Got the pocket for mama to keep her camera/phone in. We both love it. No regrets!Love the fact I can remove pillion, add the fender bib, and still have a backrest! Super easy to install and bracket hides cleanly!

God damned cloud
Got my grasshopper backrest last week and holy mother of God it's like the greatest 100 bucks I could ever spend on my softail. 1.only takes half a damn second to put on 2.only takes half a damn second to remove 3.puts just enough pressure on my lower to mid back I could ride this son of a bitch to China and back. 4.looks damn good 5.fits with stock seat. I don't know of another way to put a backrest on my stock Seat.
