07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Simple Engineering at its best
Received the Backrest today in India in about 15 days flat(of which 7 days it was stuck in Indian customs). Great and simple product. Does its job perfectly. 5 minutes job to attach the bracket and a then the backrest can be attached or removed in a jiffy. Studs look nice with my 2013 Heritage Softail Classic.

it fits- could use some adjustments
Had to remove grab strap from passager seat- for unit to fit. The back rest is thick- so it moves your riding position forward about 1.5 inches. I do like the fact - that it is removable - and will fit in saddle bag - just slide it into slot to use.
