07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Perfect!!!
I wanted a backrest for some longer upcoming rides. I read all the reviews on this backrest, but didn't see a picture of review of the fit for the 2013 Heritage Classic. The passenger seat angle is a bit different. I called the company, and was told that if the fit angle didn't work for me, they would make one that would! Well...my backrest arrived...I took the 5 minutes to install it...AND HAVEN'T STOPPED SMILING! It feels secure. Completing my last 400 mile ride was as comfortable as it started. I have enjoyed my rides much more and don't worry about my next stop with a backache! Needless to say, I don't need one made to fit. The fit in front of my passenger seat is perfect! It doesn't sit too far forward and fits the small of my back...like it was made to fit!

Comfort and Excellent Value
I'm impressed with the quality, especially for the price. The installation could not have been simpler, only a couple of minutes. Took a 150 mile ride, the backrest was very comfortable.
