07-UP Harley Davidson Heritage Softail or Fatboy Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing two knurled nuts
2. Remove nuts and place supplied bracket over existing studs
3. Reinstall nuts (you may have to pull up on studs if they slip down)
4. Put passenger seat back on.
5. Install new backrest in the bracket and ride safe!
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Quick Attach/detach
Fast shipping and easy installation. I like the fact I can remove it if not wanted. Needs heaver metal to stop the flexing when leaned against. Also, a way to secure it in place. Possible a detent ball similar to a ratchet wrench. It has come out of the receiver twice while riding and adjusting seating position.

Love the product, Not happy with the fit
The backrest was received quickly, dealing with the company was excellent. The installation was very easy and fast. The quality of the backrest was very good and of course the price was fantastic. The problem I have is that the backrest mounted on my 2013 Heritage Softail is mounted too far forward. I had wanted the backrest to be where I wanted it which is a bit more back but it is too far forward and not comfortable for me. so, for $100 and shipping it will not be used. Now I have to go spend the $500 for the Harley seat with the adjustable backrest I guess.

Easy breezy option!
Very affordable as opposed to buying a whole seat. Easy to install for a princess like myself. Only 4 stars because I keep thinking the backrest will become detached and does not feel securely in place.
