Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe 08-UP Installation Instructions
1. Remove passenger seat exposing drivers seat mounting bolts.
2. Remove bolts and install supplied mounting bracket.
3. Reassemble seats.
5. Slide backrest into receiver and tighten set screw.
6. Ride Safe!!

Great Product!! Highly recommended!
Installed it on my 2017 deluxe and have been happy with it after a 250 mile ride. Pros: Fast shipping, good price, no need to replace factory seat, comfy, no more sore back or sciatica after a long ride! Cons: Does push you up a little in the seat but after riding for a bit you adjust to it. You do have to lift your leg up a little higher when getting on the motorcycle to clear the backrest. Would recommend!

Ordered this for my 2017 Deluxe. Shipping was pretty fast. When I received it, the first thing I noticed was how thick the cushion is, both on the front and back. kinda strange. but ok, I will take it to a local guy to get it cut down. The other thing, it pushes me up more that I like, my husband said he can modify that a bit. Last, I removed my back seat and have a luggage rack that fits under the bolts on the seat. I can't use the luggage rack with the backrest, which is defeating the purpose of having both on long trips. I haven't given up yet, my husband says he can make it work. who knows. If you are shorter and need that little "push" this would be great for you.
