Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe Installation Instructions

 

 

1. Remove both seats

2. Remove factory mounting bracket

3. Slide supplied bracket between the seat and the chrome seat rail

4. Reassemble using 1/4-20 bolts supplied

5. Slide backrest into receiver and tighten set screw

6. Ride Safe!

    I WAS GOING TO BUY A NEW SEAT FOR MY 2013 ROADGLIDE BECAUSE I HAVE A LUMBAR SPINAL FUSION AND HAVE TO HAVE THE BACK SUPPORT. I WAS TOLD TO CHECK GRASSHOPPER AND I'M SO GLAD I DID. PERFECT FIT, EASY TO INSTALL, GREAT VALUE.

    I have to go to a hardware store to get the bolts, so I have not actually put it on yet. But the brackets are made of good steel.

    This backrest is the best investment I have made for my Bike. It is a back saver, end of fatigue. Hello open road.
