Yamaha 1300 V-STAR Backrest Installation Instructions
1. Remove driver and passenger seat
2. Remove passenger hold down strap nuts and
washers from bottom of passenger seat. (Bracket mounts to the bottom of the passenger seat not the fender or the bracket!!!)
3. Place supplied bracket over existing studs and reinstall
nuts and washers.
4. Reinstall seats
5. Slide backrest into the installed bracket
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Good quality. Looks great.
Love this backrest. Fast shipping to western Canada. Great price. Very comfortable. Only complaint is the sloppy fit of the slide in bracket. Using electrical tape to tighten it up is not my favorite solution. Will have to pull it off and do a little work on the slide in receptacle to get a tight fit.
