Yamaha 1300 V-STAR Backrest Installation Instructions
1. Remove driver and passenger seat
2. Remove passenger hold down strap nuts and
washers from bottom of passenger seat. (Bracket mounts to the bottom of the passenger seat not the fender or the bracket!!!)
3. Place supplied bracket over existing studs and reinstall
nuts and washers.
4. Reinstall seats
5. Slide backrest into the installed bracket
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

I have bought two backrest; one for my 2012 Road Star Silverado and one for my sweetheart 2013 VStar 1300. Both backrests were easy to install and fit perfectly. Can't beat the price. I am from Alberta, Canada and even with the shipping cost and duty it is still an awesome price.

Great Product
Purchased the backrest for my 2008 V Star 1300. It was easy to install and makes the ride way more comfortable. I love how easy it is to remove when I don't want to use it.

Clever Design - Works and Looks Great!
Installation on my 2009 V Star 1300 was simple. Very comfortable with the stock seat. Because I find it difficult to get a leg over any backrest or rear seat luggage, being able to easily remove this backrest for short runs around town, and then just slide it on for longer trips is ideal.
