Yamaha 1300 V-STAR Backrest Installation Instructions
1. Remove driver and passenger seat
2. Remove passenger hold down strap nuts and
washers from bottom of passenger seat. (Bracket mounts to the bottom of the passenger seat not the fender or the bracket!!!)
3. Place supplied bracket over existing studs and reinstall
nuts and washers.
4. Reinstall seats
5. Slide backrest into the installed bracket
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

Yamaha 1300 V Star Driver backrest
Very easy install, great quality and very happy with the product. Took it out for the first time yesterday, so much better than without. Very reasonably priced as well. A must get.
