Yamaha 1300 V-STAR Backrest Installation Instructions
1. Remove driver and passenger seat
2. Remove passenger hold down strap nuts and
washers from bottom of passenger seat. (Bracket mounts to the bottom of the passenger seat not the fender or the bracket!!!)
3. Place supplied bracket over existing studs and reinstall
nuts and washers.
4. Reinstall seats
5. Slide backrest into the installed bracket
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

This is a great product for exactly what and who it was designed for. A Basic no frills easy to install Driver's Backrest. And I love it. It's exactly what I was looking for. SB

Oh if life were as easy as this product: Installed fast, fit perfectly, comfortable feeling. Great quality, extremely fast delivery. I did have to use tape to tighten the insert, but that is NOT a problem to me at all. Loving the price. I'm already recommending to my friends Keep up the great work.

Excellent Product for the Affordable Price
Love this backrest. First backrest I purchased ever. Made for a very comfortable 325 mile ride. Very easy install and takes lest than 5 minutes. The only down fall was that I had to use electrical tape to tighten the fit of the bracket. Will refer fellow bikers to your business.
