Yamaha 950 V-STAR Backrest Installation Instructions
1. Remove driver and passenger seat
2. Remove passenger hold down strap nuts and
washers from bottom of passenger seat. (Bracket mounts to the bottom of the passenger seat not the fender or the bracket!!!)
3. Place supplied bracket over existing studs and reinstall
nuts and washers.
4. Reinstall seats
5. Slide backrest into the installed bracket
(if upright is loose put one piece of electrical tape around tongue and reinstall)

This backrest was as easy to install as they say it is and is very comfortable - I love it!

Grasshopper Motorcycle Driver Backrest
This is a fine product. I already had experience with a Grasshopper backrest for my previous bike, and consequently being pleased with it, ordered another one to fit my new bike. They are well built and take only minutes to install. I'd highly recommend this product.
